On 30 April 2004 I stopped working for the charity Royal National Institute of the Blind after 11 years, consisting of 5 years in Finance and 6 years in Site Services. I had just landed another job the day before I left, which led to an unexpectedly happy last day.

A few people from both departments gathered to wish me well, scattering once the camera was trained on them. Above L-R: Amanda, Jacqui, Bronwen, Sharon, Jo, Wendy, Hilary and Zelie, and in front, Sally.

Yet more colleagues... L-R back row, Pete, Nick, Sara, Jan and Denis. Front row: Christine and Sally.

It's squirm time - Pete reminding everyone of mainly my best moments in both jobs...

Now it's pressie time, firstly a lovely black leather handbag which you can hardly see against my jacket...

... and also a set of pens to look smart in said handbag.

And we have food! Hidden away in Pete's office, although I nearly walked in on it at least once during the morning.

Here's a close up of the cake, very cleverly made by Sally.

And we can't do without a picture of me cutting the cake ceremonially!

And this is what I left behind. All those PCs were mine, used for various aspects of the phone system. Someone else will have to take the helm now, I'm off to pastures new!
