Saw this in the local newspapers about 48 hours before going. Ramsey is a little market town 9 miles south of Whittlesey, in the middle of the Cambridgeshire Fens to those who don't know where that is!
This trip included:
| a walk round Ramsey looking at various interesting old buildings, |
| a visit to the "1940s weekend" being held on both Saturday and Sunday, including displays of vehicles, re-enactments, everyone invited to dress up 1940s style, trade stalls and displays of 1940s memorabilia, dancing displays to 1940s music, parades of vintage vehicles round the town. |
