Yet again I accompanied my work colleagues on a Team Day/site visit, this time to Cardiff and Newport, South Wales. The weather forecast wasn't good - the pictures are mainly grey, sorry if you've paid for a colour licence.
First we stopped at the Caldecot and Wentlooge Levels Internal Drainage Board offices, near Newport, for a lovely lunch including home-made lemon drizzle cake and Welsh scones........ Interesting talks were given by Huw from Atkins, and Tim, the local EA Area Manager.
