Crete is far enough south and east of mainland Europe to have some lovely, unusual flowers and plants. So much so that I didn't know what some of these were, and Barbara has had a look at them since, to help identify what they are. If you have any more corrections to make, please e-mail me...

5, No idea

6, Bouganvillea Spectablis (the purple plant, not the palm tree behind)

Below: 7, Mango or Guava, could be either

8, Canna

Below: 9, ????? Don't we grow these as houseplants?

10, Pelargoniums (Both)

12, Daphne or Gardenia, could be either
