Holiday to Crete, September 2003

Back to Holidays

The main reason for this holiday was to visit the site of the Minoan Palace at Knossos, but there were also going to be gastronomic experiences, beaches, horses, flowers, lovely scenery and a lot of friendly people.  We went to one of the quieter parts of the island, in the north-west, flying to Chania rather than the more usual Iraklion.
